Zhourat herbal infusions embody the rich tradition of the Sham region, aka “Levant” region, where diverse communities blend a variety of herbs and wild flowers along the eastern shores of the Mediterranean sea, Zhourat captures the essence of this ancient practice.
Here at Beit e’Shai, we have our own take on this beloved Levantine herbal tea. Drawing on inspiration from our Palestinian heritage, we blend aniseed, lavender, sage, rosemary, rose, chamomile and lemon balm. Take a moment to unwind and embrace the ancient wisdom of these carefully selected herbs, known for their calming properties, aromatic scents and botanical notes.

Brewing
70ºC | 5–6 min
Use one heaped teaspoon of Zhourat blend per cup of water and brew in your favourite teapot, tea bottle or infuser. Add more hot water to infusers as desired.
Do not use boiling water. A water temperature of 70ºC is recommended to ensure that beneficial volatile oils in the herbs do not evaporate.
